PNGtoSVGFree (“we”, “us”) operates pngtosvgfree.online. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our free PNG to SVG converter and, more importantly, what we do not collect. Our product is designed so that your images never leave your device, which makes most traditional privacy concerns moot by architecture.

1. Your images: never uploaded, never stored

The core of our service converting PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF and BMP images to SVG runs entirely in your web browser using client-side technology. When you drop an image into the converter, it is read by your browser, traced into vector paths by code running on your own device, and offered back to you as a download. At no point is the image transmitted to our servers, stored on our infrastructure, or seen by any human on our team. Because we never receive your files, we cannot leak, sell, or misuse them.

2. Information we do collect

We intentionally collect as little as possible:

  • Anonymous usage counts. We may count how many conversions happen in aggregate to understand whether the service is working. These counts contain no personal data and cannot be linked to you.
  • Basic technical logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider may log standard web-server data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to profile visitors.
  • Contact emails. If you email us, we keep your message and address only long enough to respond.

3. Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The site may store a small, anonymous counter in your browser's local storage (on your own device, not our servers) to display how many SVGs have been created. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings; the converter works identically without it. If we introduce analytics in the future, this policy will be updated first.

4. Third parties

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties there is essentially nothing to share. Embedded content is limited to what is necessary to serve the site. If we add third-party services (for example, privacy-respecting analytics), they will be disclosed here before activation.

5. Children's privacy

Our service is a general-purpose utility not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because images are processed locally and never transmitted, there is no mechanism by which a child's image could reach us.

6. Data security

We protect the limited data we hold with standard technical measures (encrypted connections via HTTPS, minimal retention). The strongest protection, however, is architectural: the most sensitive thing you entrust to a converter your images never leaves your device.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU/UK GDPR and similar laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain uses. Because we hold almost no personal data, most requests can be satisfied immediately contact us at contact@pngtosvgfree.online and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, display a notice on the site. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
